Responsible for adding relevant assertions and coverage points to new and existing blocks, verifying various sequential equivalence scenarios such as clock gating, and verifying datapath equivalence of C and RTL models. Diagnose formal failures and work closely with RTL designers to update formal constraints or RTL code in order to fix the failures. Verify the sequential equivalence of a new revision of an RTL block, and work with the RTL team to resolve any issues.Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 48 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation.Requires 48 months of experience involving the following:
1. ASIC/SoC design/development at sub-system or chip level;
2. Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL;
3. Writing assertions/checkers in Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL ;
4. UVM/OVM/VMM;
5. Test bench development;
6. Test/verification plan creation;
7. Synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool;
8. Verification of unit-level blocks or full chip;
9. Code coverage analysis/closure;
10. Writing Perl scripts to automate feature testing and debugging;
11. Monitoring and debugging test failures; and
12. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis.Total RewardsAt Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $260,450 and $280,450.
