Job Description:

Office Manager/Bookkeeper We are looking for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting/Office Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are looking for someone to work closely with our financial, administrative, and management team.
Responsibilities
The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will oversee the daily operations of the accounting and administrative staff. The following are some of the responsibilities:
month and end-year process
accounts payable/receivable
cash receipts
general ledger
payroll and utilities
treasury, budgeting
cash forecasting
revenue and expenditure variance analysis
capital assets reconciliations
trust account statement reconciliations,
check runs
fixed asset activity
debt activity
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Coordinate and complete annual audits Provide recommendations Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy Meet financial accounting objectives Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

All required reporting for local and state agencies.
Hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday
Skills
Proven working experience as an Office Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Quick Books, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
BS degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Supplemental pay types:
Bonus pay

To protect our staff at all facilities we require face masks to be worn by employees, customers and visitors. We provide hand sanitizer and wash stations in all work areas and for customers at each cashier/scale office.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Gilroy, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
QuickBooks: 8 years (Required)
Microsoft Office: 6 years (Required)
