Description
-Accurate preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, organizations, and trusts
-Detailed focus of assigned projects and awareness of process including extensions, filings, etc---
-Consult and discuss with Tax Manager and client services any concerns
-Research and keep abreast of current developments in the tax area and assist client service team in forming conclusions related to complex tax issues.
-Maintain compliance with regulations by forwarding and reporting required information to federal, state, and local authorities
-Work as a member of a team or individually in the preparation of complex tax engagements including personal, fiduciary, and business types
-Support management through WIP reports and billing for special projects
-Build relationships with existing clients as well as maintaining and developing a strong professional business and community network

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field required
-MBA, MST, CPA highly desired
-2-5 years' experience dealing with individual tax, fiduciary and entity compliance and tax issues
-Strong accounting and analytical skills
-Detail oriented, critical thinker and problem-solving skills
-Ability to meet and exceed internal and external deadlines and provide excellent customer service
-Team player, great interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
-Strong knowledge and proficiency of tax software programs and Microsoft Office Suite
