equivalent practical experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

or a related function, or 8 years with an advanced degree in
accounting, business, or finance. Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a technical accounting or similar role at the
Social and Economic Committee (SEC) or Financial Accounting
Standards Board (FASB). Ability to have strong attention to detail,
and focus on continuous improvement. Ability to have a
collaborative style and work with cross-functional and
international teams. Ability to own projects and lead others
(direct or indirect) to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of
the work. Ability to remove and anticipate roadblocks with the
potential to impede progress. Excellent organizational,
investigative skills with the ability to communicate effectively

savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at
Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting
process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by
governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret

advisor to the business. The US base salary range for this
full-time position is $158,000-$228,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Perform technical research on complex accounting
issues (with heavy emphasis on business arrangements, contingent
considerations, etc.) and provide accounting consultation advice to
business partners under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP). Work with various cross-functional stakeholders on complex
accounting issues. Draft and maintain global accounting policies
and memos. Keep business partners abreast of developments in
accounting and financial reporting and related firm policies and
positions through issuance of various publications, training
sessions and other meeting forums; draft comment letters to
standard setters.
