Job Description:
Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC) is seeking a dedicated
and experienced Childcare Center Director to oversee the operations
and educational programming of our facility. At PACCC, we are
committed to providing top-notch educational and developmental
support in a nurturing and safe environment tailored to the
developmental needs of children. The ideal candidate will lead a
team of educators and support staff, ensuring that the center meets
high-quality standards and fosters an environment conducive to
child development and learning. Develop and implement overall
curriculum and educational programs that align with both our
philosophy and state regulations. Manage all aspects of the
center’s operations, including staffing, budgeting, and
administration. Lead, coach, and support staff in their
professional development and daily responsibilities to ensure a
high standard of care and education. Maintain a safe, clean, and
caring environment for children and staff. Engage with parents and
families to promote involvement in their child's development and to
ensure satisfaction with our services. Ensure compliance with
local, state, and federal regulations governing childcare. Oversee
administrative duties such as enrollment, documentation, reporting,
and other compliance-related activities. Strong leadership and
interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in program planning and curriculum development Budget
management and financial oversight Understanding of child
development and early childhood education best practices Ability to
work collaboratively with staff and community members Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR and First Aid
certification Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or
similar State-specific director qualification certifications where
applicable
