Our team is 100% remote and we work with teams across North America, South America, and Europe to help them hire.https://www.recruitingfromscratch.com/Salary Range: $150,000-$250,000 base plus 0.1% - 2% equity.Our client is looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer to join the team. Our client is looking for someone with demonstrated interest in early stage startups and passion for AI or related fields. They should be able to navigate highly uncertain environments on their own.
Our client hopes to build our team with people who are self-motivated, have high levels of ownership, low ego, and a desire to work on a fast-paced, intense, fun team.Role responsibilities:--- Build and scale the backend ads systemCandidate requirements:

• 3+ years of experience Need to be familiar with ads system
  • Practical experience working in the cloud (GCP, AWS, etc).
    • Experience withy Python and Go, experience with other programming languages is a plus.
      • Extensive experience building ad systems, preferably leading a team, familiar with the different players in the ads ecosystem and the business landscape.
        • Solid understanding of the business logic of programmatic ad systems, including intent recognition, targeting, ad matching, pricing, etc.
          • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
            • CS degree from a top engineering school.
              • Able and excited to work in-person with the team in SF.Nice-to-haves:
                • Strong interest/passion about AI.
