Job Description:

engineering team, you will be taking a lead in mechanical design,
be the point of contact and interface to the wider product
development team and work with the customers to solve challenging
problems in multiple domains. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field 3D
CAD experience – Pro-engineer, Solidworks or UG NX 3 years of
hands-on experience in mechanical design and analysis, capital
equipment design experience preferred Key Qualifications:
Semiconductor equipment design or troubleshooting experience Fire
in the belly – can do attitude Proficient in simulation and
analysis methods (FEA, thermal analysis and tolerance analysis)
Strong in one of the following fields: Thermal or Compressible flow
or Design or Machining & manufacturing processes Excellent written
and verbal communication skills Able to craft clear engineering
documentation Ability to form effective cross-functional
relationships and to communicate product design/mechanical
requirements clearly to non-experts Ability to prioritize and
handle multiple projects simultaneously Description: You will own
the end-to-end design, development and validation of hardware
required to enable chemical vapor deposition (CVD) processes. You
will work with a passionate cross-functional team to generate
design concepts, and as the mechanical engineering lead you will be
responsible for engineering analysis and documentation for your
piece of the project: Identifying design tradeoffs and risks to
choose best path to solution Identifying and performing
experiments, data analysis and applying scientific methods to
reduce design risk early Running analysis (tolerance, thermal, flow
etc.) to prove designs will meet intended objectives In the
prototyping and validation phases, you will support internal and
external teams in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving issues
found at the component and system level and will be
multidisciplinary in nature. Troubleshooting issues as customer
site may involve some international travel. At the end of every
project; with your contribution; the passionate team at DDP will be
delivering the technology that will enable our customers to design
the next smallest, fastest chip and advanced display in the world!

Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $171,000.00 The salary offered to a
selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including
location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience,
and with consideration of internal equity of our current team
members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package,
candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as
participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total
Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and
target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement. Applied Materials is
