Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be integral to supporting the Hardware Engineering department in testing, assembly, and development of innovative sensor, compute, and power system Electronic Control Units (ECUs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for continuous learning, aligning seamlessly with our organization’s commitment to excellence and innovation. Job Title: Engineering Technician Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range: $58/hour What's the Job? Assemble, modify, test, and document cable harnesses and test setups for electronic systems. Perform soldering and PCBA rework, including wires, SMD chips, and integrated circuits. Support testing activities by preparing test setups, executing tests, collecting data, and maintaining detailed documentation. Assist in managing inventory of equipment and consumables, including ordering parts and supplies. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment, contributing to continuous improvements. What's Needed? Experience assembling, inspecting, debugging, testing, and repairing PCBAs and cable harnesses. Ability to read electrical schematics, circuit board files, BOMs, and engineering drawings. Proficiency with EE lab equipment such as soldering irons, DMMs, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with hardware tools including crimpers, wire strippers, torque drivers, calipers, and power drills. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
