Job Description:
An Indian Health Service facility in Tohatchi, NM, is seeking a
family medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage.
The position is full-time, requiring a 40-hour workweek with clinic
hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30
p.m., and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with mornings
reserved for administrative tasks.
Primary care duties are typical, serving a diverse patient
population of all ages, with a caseload of 8-15 patients per
day.
The assignment is outpatient-based, day shifts, and does not
require call coverage. Support staff are fully available.
Board certification is negotiable; prescriptive authority is
required. The assignment begins in August and is ongoing.
