Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Location: Gilroy, California

Salary Range: Up to $48 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility (SNF) team in Gilroy, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in conducting patient evaluations to assess their physical and mental abilities
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' physical and cognitive skills
• Educate patients and their families on home care instructions and adaptive equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of various therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional development Schedule:
    • Full-time, 40 hours per week
    • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
    • No weekend rotation Facility Details:
