Job Description:
*** $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Available ***
The PACU RN provides immediate post-op, age-appropriate care to
patients recovering from anesthesia, including family visits and
pre-op holding for ED/nursing units.
Responsible for delegation, supervision, and delivering nursing
care based on the nursing process, incorporating evidence-based
practices and participating in quality improvement.
Emphasizes high-quality, compassionate care aligned with hospital
values, promoting excellence and patient-centered service.
Qualifications include Illinois RN licensure, BLS/CPR
certification, and the ability to perform patient positioning,
transfers, and skilled procedures like IV insertions.
Work environment involves exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and
hazardous materials, requiring physical stamina and
coordination.
