Job Description:
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic
procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment
and adherence to safety standards. Operates radiographic equipment
and monitors its functionality, reporting malfunctions promptly.
Uses safety devices like lead aprons and shields to ensure
radiation safety. Handles computer and clerical tasks related to
radiology requests and maintains exam room organization. Provides
patient care using appropriate procedures, ensuring safety and
comfort. Collects and processes laboratory samples as needed.
Reports to Lead or Manager, with physical demands including
potential exposure to radiation, chemicals, and contagious
diseases. Qualifications include an accredited radiologic
technology program, ARRT certification within 12 months, and CPR
certification within 90 days. Associate degree preferred; effective
communication skills required. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available
for offers made by 6/30/25, with enhanced benefits.
