FROM THE FACILITY. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled
and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in
Salinas, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for
ensuring the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications
for our patients, while working closely with physicians, nurses,
and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: · Review
and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness. ·
Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals
and patients. · Monitor patient responses to prescribed drug
treatments. · Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and
implement individualized medication plans. · Evaluate potential
drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies. · Ensure
compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and hospital
policies. · Maintain accurate and detailed medication records. ·
Participate in quality improvement and medication safety
initiatives.
