Job Description We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist for a full-time/part time , in-person position, providing services across two outpatient clinic locations in Gilroy and Campbell, CA. The role for full time requires working 2 days per week at one location and 3 days at the other, based on the needs of each clinic. Typical working hours are from 9 AM – 5:30 PM or 10 AM – 6:30 PM, with some flexibility as needed. Position Type: Full-time or Part-time Key Responsibilities: - Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams. - Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations. - Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards. - Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation. - Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary. - Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings. Qualifications: - MD from an accredited institution. - Current California Medical Board License. - DEA registration to prescribe medications. - Minimum 8 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children. - Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. - Valid California driver’s license.
