Job Title: Mammography Tech (Travel) City: Salinas State: CA Job Type: Travel Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Mammography Tech Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Flexible Shift Details: 8 Hours Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications/Licenses : Completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA - Required Current CRT (R) (M) and ARRT (R) registration - Required BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards - Required California State License – Mammographic Radiologic Technologist (CRT (R) (M)) ARRT (M) Certificate – need copy of original that reflects that date received Initial 40 hours of training 25 supervised exams 8 hours modality training in Tomosynthesis 8 hours modality training in digital mammography Continuing education – 15 CEU’s in 36 months 200 mammograms in 24 months BLS AHA Mandatory Experience: Mammography Technologist. 1 year of experience as a licensed mammography technologist, preferred.
