Job Description:
Join our innovative team at Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant, where you can leverage your skills
to aid patients in their recovery journey and improve their sports
performance. In this role, you will work closely under the
supervision of licensed therapists to implement therapy plans
specifically designed to meet the unique needs of our athletic
clientele. If you're enthusiastic about sports and wellness and

licensed occupational therapists in evaluating patients' athletic
performance and recovery needs. Implement therapy plans and
demonstrate exercises that meet the specific requirements of each
patient. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to
therapists to adapt plans as needed. Educate patients and their
families about the therapy process and maintenance exercises.
Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with therapy
protocols. Support the therapy team with administrative tasks and
equipment management. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and therapy plans.
Proficient in using therapy equipment and implementing exercises.
Keen observational skills and ability to assess patient progress.
Capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Certification from the National Board for Certification in
Occupational Therapy (NBCOT); licensed to practice in the
state.
