Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,572 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Transplant experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas Description: Our unit specializes in caring for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases. We also care for recipients of liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants. We routinely care for patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders. The unit serves as a med-surg/tele overflow unit. Nurses are expected to manage patient care, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with rapid response and code teams is essential. Nurses will provide peripheral line care and manage oxygen therapy. Knowledge of isolation precautions and feeding tube care is required. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patients typically diagnosed include those with diseases and disorders of the GI tract, liver, kidney, and pancreas. The unit involves special procedures such as abdominal organ transplants and advanced abdominal surgeries. Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed.
