Job Description Job Type – Full Time Schedule - Days; Monday through Friday Patients Per Day – 20-22 EMR System - Proprietary Work Location – Outpatient Clinic Job ID – 60333 Job Description A Merced based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Pediatric Physician to provide care to those under eighteen in a community health center. An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients. The clinic system is large, supportive, and multidisciplinary. Required Qualifications Active CA Physician License Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics Active DEA certification CPR certification Responsibilities Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload Supervise NPs and PAs within regulations Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy Benefits 403(b) with up to a 3% match after 90 days of service, with 1000 work hours per year; and a five year vesting schedule Annual benefits for CEU’s including up to $2,000.00 for coursework and up to 40 hours of paid CEU time 15 days of paid time off annually accrued from date of hire 5 days of disability reserve annually, accrued from the date of hire 7 Paid Holidays plus 2 floating holidays per year Benefit package to include Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options; Paid Short and Long Term disability, Life insurance (1x’s your annual Florida License and DEA renewal will be reimbursement Annual Professional Membership renewals up to $200.00 About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
