Cath Lab Tech Location: Merced, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,706 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: - Experience with PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters. - Ability to help train new staff. - Knowledge of balloon pumps. - STEMI experience is a plus. Description: Currently, there is one cath lab, with plans to expand to two. The number of cases per day varies from 0 to 5-6. Certifications required include ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy. The charting system in use is Cerner, among others. Cath Lab Technologists will scrub in as needed, but no on-call is currently required. Registered Nurses are responsible for circulating, while scrubbing is not a requirement. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments that are shorter.
