You will have the opportunity to work in a team developing system-level frameworks enabling these experiences, in close collaboration with creative teams across Apple and VPG. The candidate for this role should be comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment. Engineers are expected to work efficiently to assess the viability of ideas and technologies. You will need a strong understanding of GPUs and low-level programming, with a passion for innovation to enable creatives to surprise and delight users.Minimum Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in programming with C++
• Strong knowledge of mathematics for 3D real-time applications (linear algebra)
• Understanding of GPU hardware architecture and its impact on solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in designing and implementing real-time 3D and/or spatial experiences
• Experience delivering high-quality software to end usersPreferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading projects or teams
  • Skills in writing optimized code using profiling tools, assembly, SIMD, compute, etc.
  • Proficiency with major modern graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX, Consoles, etc.)
  • Familiarity with macOS and Unix systemsAt Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
