Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design. Experience designing across multiple platforms (e.g., Web, Mobile, Tablet, etc.). Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications: Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. Experience creating, implementing, defining, or working with design systems. Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for crafting useful and positive experiences. Search Verticals is the Search team responsible for vertical traffic including queries for Finance, Sports, Health, Language, Weather, TV-Movies, People, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Mature and evolve the notion of framework by collaborating with other leads to form a cohesive offering across Google products. Work across programs to define, maintain, and evolve the tools, processes, and communication around asset management. Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product, a point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments. Defend Google products and its value prop amid an interlaced relationship with Google’s brand. Partner with visual programs within the organization to evolve and apply new design styles for the suite of products.
