Job Description Job Description Job Title: Civil Litigation Associate Attorney Location: Oakland, California (Hybrid/Flexible arrangements available) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with at least one year of hands-on litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing their own caseload, from case inception through resolution, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment. Key Responsibilities: Handle a full caseload independently, with minimal supervision Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions such as summary judgment Take and defend depositions Conduct legal research, write memoranda, and draft pleadings Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop litigation strategy Maintain attention to deadlines and detail throughout the litigation process Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team California Bar admission required Preferred Qualifications: Experience in insurance defense and/or public entity defense Federal court and trial experience a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
