WE ARE GROWING AND HIRING!!!!!Rebekah Children's Services is growing! We are hiring in our Quality Improvement department in our Gilroy facility. We are in need of a QI Coordinator II. This is a great opportunity for those who want to make a difference and support our mission at RCS! Established in 1897, Rebekah Children's Services is located on an expansive 8 acre, park-like campus in Gilroy as well as satellite offices in Campbell and Salinas. We offer a wide variety of programs including Adoption & Foster Care, TBS, Outpatient Services, SLS, Short Term Residential Treatment Services as well as Wraparound Services, a Non-Public School, Prevention Programs and Vocational Services. Benefits: Supervision for BBS Hours Competitive Salary 100% Employee paid benefit package; Medical, Dental, and Vision 401K matching plan Opportunities for growth and further training Excellent PTO package Family oriented environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Master's level licensed clinician highly preferred or BA and 4 years of related job experience Administrative experience preferred, preferably in children's services (Mental Health Services). Training experience preferred. Must have knowledge of Mental Health Laws, Title IX, Community Care Licensing, Title XXII, HIPAA and False Claims Act and the application of sound auditing and monitoring practices in a healthcare environment. Must be proficient in the application of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. Knowledge of Crystal Report is preferred. LICENSE(S): Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record as documented by DMV. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of children's mental health laws and practices. Knowledge of Wraparound values and concepts. Knowledge of data collection techniques. Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures. Ability to read and understand legal requirements and professional standards. Ability to develop, collect, and maintain accurate records. Program development skills. Ability to work as part of a team (collaboration with others, group work, and interpersonal communication). Time management skills with ability to set and meet deadlines. Ability to produce well-written documentation. Ability to think creatively and problem solve while keeping to the established standards. Ability to demonstrate maturity, leadership, flexibility, and creativity in the performance of job duties and responsibilities. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance as required by Title XXII licensing regulations. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The following are required in day-to-day performance of the duties of this position: Sitting, walking, standing, grasping (simple), and visual/auditory acuity are constantly required (over 2/3 of the workday). Bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, lifting, reaching and pushing/pulling are required occasionally (under 1/3 of the workday). Climbing and crawling are generally not required. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Works collaboratively with RCS management in developing and conducting on-going internal quality improvement processes regarding documentation, charting, and best practices associated with EBPs, PPs, TIPs, and philosophical approaches such as those found within Wraparound and the Integrated Core Practice Manual. Confers with management in the design and review of reporting procedures used for quality improvement including a determination of the validity and appropriateness of quality improvement criteria and measures. Catalogs and analyzes auditing and tracking tools. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates information regarding quality performance indicators. Monitors and evaluates services based on relevant laws, professional standards, accreditation, and contractual requirements. Designs, schedules and conducts quality review audits; performs or coordinates chart and/or other medical record reviews and records and/or abstracts specific relevant data as appropriate. Provides timely review and feedback from internal audit/quality improvement processes including recommendations and conclusions for management and direct service staff. Generates and or coordinates the development of various reports regarding performance against quality indicators. Assist in the billing of services processes within the scope of quality improvement processes. Participates in on-going needs assessments of service programs used for Performance and Quality Improvement, training, planning, etc. Offers a constructive and supportive approach to resolving problems, requiring tact, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with others. Participates in the planning, development, coordination, and presentation of culturally proficient and relevant training and educational programs as appropriate to quality improvement needs. Training may include monthly documentation training, one-to-one supervision, mentoring, and/or tutorial support of staff providing direct client care. Demonstrates an understanding of confidentiality policies, mandated child abuse reporting and duty to warn procedures. Develops and maintains databases and prepares statistical reports. Stays abreast of new developments in the field of Quality Improvement and recommends new practices or revises existing procedures for compliance with federal and state regulations, licensing, contractual requirements, and accreditation standards. Assumes responsibility and oversight of select projects as assigned by the Quality Improvement and Compliance Director or QI Manager. Assist in the management of clinical records as needed. Every employee has the opportunity and responsibility to participate in one or more activities each year that support the performance and quality improvement (PQI) of RCS programs and services. Activities might involve membership on a PQI committee or work group, service as a peer reviewer, data collection for PQI and evaluation purposes, completion of PQI questionnaires and surveys or participation in focus groups, or other activities as identified by PQI committees or work groups.
