EO is responsible for PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance, construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.Position SummaryThis position is based in San Francisco and requires daily onsite presence.The Electric Operations Distribution Maintenance and Construction leadership manages teams involved in maintaining or building parts of the service territory distribution grid. Supervisors and Superintendents oversee projects throughout the territory. They ensure safe and reliable service while complying with CPUC General Orders, safety regulations, and other regulatory requirements. Leaders must implement safety best practices and manage employee accountability, ensuring compliance with the Injury & Illness Prevention Program.PG&E provides a salary range based on current market and locality considerations. Actual salary will depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other factors. The estimated salary range is:

• Bay Area Minimum: $129,000
• Bay Area Maximum: $207,000or
  • California Minimum: $123,000
  • California Maximum: $197,000Responsibilities
    • Promote safe work behaviors and foster a speak-up, listen-up, follow-up culture.
    • Lead weekly team meetings and safety tailboards; conduct training as needed.
    • Visit work sites regularly to monitor progress and employee performance.
    • Ensure customer needs are met through clear, professional communication.
    • Complete and maintain all work documentation and reporting.
    • Make informed field decisions using technical knowledge, considering safety, cost, risk, and customer impact.
    • Monitor crew productivity to utilize resources effectively.
    • Build positive relationships with peers and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Respond to emergencies and outages; may serve as a field leader during major emergency activations.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent by first day of employment
      • At least 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, field maintenance, or related electric utility workDesired Qualifications:
        • Willingness to travel 10-50% of the time, including occasional overnight stays
        • Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergencies across the service territory
        • Experience working outdoors in remote, steep, or uneven terrain and in inclement weather
        • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
        • Previous electric utility industry experience; Journeyman lineman preferred
        • Knowledge of California Public Utility Commission General Orders (GO 95, 128, 165)
        • Strong project management skills for overseeing construction projects
        • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
        • Customer service orientation, communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills
        • Knowledge of bargaining unit contracts
        • Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement
        • Leadership experience supervising cross-functional teams and bargaining unit personnel
        • Ability to influence and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
        • Use of business metrics to motivate performance
        • Excellent presentation and leadership skills
        • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
